About the Founder
Tressa Jumps is the founder of HELD Communications, LLC, which provides design, web content, copywriting, editing and marketing. She also serves on the executive board for the International Association Of Business Communicators in Phoenix, as the VP of Professional Development. Previously, she was the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications for the largest community college in Arizona. In 2015, she was honored with the Communicator of the Year Award from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations. Prior to her tenure in academia, she created the award-winning brand for the city of Glendale, Arizona’s acclaimed 2008 Super Bowl brand, “Glendale’s Got Game.” She established her marketing and design expertise at Anhueser-Busch Entertainment Corporation, creating content, curriculum and marketing products for SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. Tressa graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master’s in Mass Communications. She volunteers her time as a lay counselor for a program that helps women transition from abusive pasts and break the cycle of dysfunction in their lives.
